“Hey. Hey, c'mon you.” Grant jostled his shoulder. “Your stop’s coming up.”
“Mnuh… Ah fuck, did I…?”
“Yeah, but it’s okay, you only drooled on me a little.”
Grant quietly groaned, groggily checking his face.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding, you’re fine.”
“You bully,” he mumbled, shaking his head as as the train lurched to a stop. The doors slid open with a chime and the two stepped off onto an empty platform.
Grant did a double-take. “Hang on, if this is my stop… we passed yours ages ago! Why didn’t you wake me sooner?”
“I tried,” Finn shrugged with a smile. “Not very hard, though, if I’m honest.”
Grant shook his head. “You’re too much.”
The doors of the train closed behind them and their train noisily pulled out of the station. The two stood quietly as the dimly-lit platform steadily grew silent again.
“You don’t want to go home yet, do ya?”
Finn shook his head, his face red. “I really, really don’t.”
“Well… you could… come by my place?” Grant fidgeted. “Is it too soon to ask that? I mean, I don’t want to pressure–”
“Let’s do it,” Finn interrupted.
“Y-yeah?”
“Yeah. I mean, well, I am already out this far…”
Grant laughed. “Mmhm. Funny how that happened.”
Finn flashed an innocent smile. “Let’s call it a sign.”
